Welcome to May’s edition of the Roundup!

As we gear up for another exciting month ahead, I wanted to start off by asking you all to help choose a new favicon logo! It is a small but crucial element of our online presence that represents our brand and will literally take 30 seconds of your time. To have your say click here

I also wanted to thank everyone who made it out to our recent Sydney luncheon. It was great to see so many familiar faces and catch up with everyone.

Now, I am excited to bring the same energy to our Melbourne team and have a team lunch planned! I am looking forward to getting together to enjoy a meal and a laugh with you all.

Help us choose our new favicon logo!

We would love your thoughts on which of the favicon logos you like. The favicon logo is a small but essential element that appears next to a webpage’s title in browser tabs, address bars, bookmark lists, search engine results pages (SERPs), toolbars, browser history, and many other places across the web. We want to make sure that our favicon logo is both visually appealing and memorable, so we are eager to hear your thoughts! To give us your thoughts click -> HERE <-

Let’s get to know Adnan Khabbaz

Tell us a bit about yourself.

As a kid, I was always curious and loved taking apart my toys to see how they worked. That curiosity led me down the path of becoming an engineer, but unfortunately, it also led to me losing the privilege of receiving new toys as gifts! I am passionate about construction and always eager to learn new techniques to improve efficiency and practicality. I have been in engineering and project management for 15 years now, and I still enjoy it every single day.

When I am not working, I enjoy building furniture, renovating, and restoring old things, and hitting the gym or playing sports like tennis, NRL, soccer, NFL, and F1 racing. I am also a bit of a board game fanatic – although Monopoly always seems to be the destroyer of relationships! Gardening and cooking are other hobbies of mine, and I make a mean mushroom and beef stroganoff, but I cannot give away all my secrets!

What is your job title and what do you do at Vocus/Talentplicity?

I am the Senior Project Manager, and I manage the Site Acquisition and Environmental Design phase of the project. Plus, I help out my counterpart in the construction phase too.

How long have you been with Vocus/Talentplicity?

It has been a short and sweet 8 weeks so far!

What do you love about your job?

Well, for starters, the people around me are fantastic! The company culture is also great, and I have felt very supported since day one. The role itself is also very challenging, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Lastly, what is your favorite holiday destination?

I love any place that is rich in history and culture. There is something so fascinating about immersing yourself in the past and experiencing new cultures firsthand.

Melburnian let’s grab a bite

Sydney Team Catch-up

A big shoutout to the wonderful Noushin for putting together a much-needed catch-up at the Green Moustache, North Sydney with the Sydney Team. The food was great, and everyone had an amazing time.

Happy Birthday to our May Staff!

If you see Andrew Ramulu on his special day (14th May) make sure to wish him a very happy birthday!

Supporting our community

At Talentplicity, we love supporting our community every chance we get. Recently, Nic Cerny, dropped off coffees and snacks to our hardworking ambulance workers at St Vincent Hospital to thank them for their tireless efforts to keep us safe. If you have any ideas on how we can continue supporting our community, we are all ears!
